Its been a while since i posted here, just to keep things up to date.. I live in CT now and am currently job hunting. I have also placed matted prints at the consignment shop (House of Consignment) along with some magnets and a new batch of bookmarks.I have also started making smaller prints that fit in a mat that has a 5x7 window, they look wonderful.
As for todays accomplishments I have cleaned the bathroom, not a fun task but it was needed. Theres nothing quite like a nice clean bathroom. Now to get back into the art "zone" not sure what I will be working on today.

Some new paintings have been put on my site, there will soon be a few more as well.
Today Craig and I went hiking at sleeping giant, beautiful day for it. There were a lot of people there today. Craig saved me from a nasty looking "skeeto" I think some of its parts are still on my shirt =P. We went to the top of the main trail where there is a 3 story castle. It was tough for me being out of shape =P but i made it to the top! 3.2 miles back and forth. Of course going up was mostly uphill walking and rocky. We had a fun time and now we're cooking up some soup.

Craig and I just got back from strawberry picking at Lyman's Orchards http://www.lymanorchards.com/
Ive never seen strawberries growing in the field, they are for the most part small to medium in size, a beautiful red color, like a new car sparkley red...and they taste wonderful. We bought about 6 lbs, I froze some and the rest are for eating and making little strawberry shortcakes, i hope they come out delicious.
New paintings will soon be on my site, as soon as Craig gets a chance, anyone on the mailing list will recieve an update.

Sad news - my grandmother is very sick and dying, shes very old but that doesnt seem to justify anything. I could really vent on this and have, but id rather not on here, which seems odd because this is the right place for it.
Other news - my new painting Dusk was rejected from Epilogue, I think Craig was rather surprised but I expected it.
Happier News - Fresas (Strawberries) Print sold on ebay, Im really happy someone found it and wanted to have it in their home. I hope this is just the start of more sales. I am also working on smaller originals (7x10) to sell on ebay. So far I have a small series of faeries with rubber duckies in some water with bubbles.
I have also come up with a new creature, anime and Brian Froud inspired creatures...that's all I will say about them for now =) |

Craig has been teaching me to drive, I just recently got my learners permit, I know its late in my life for most people but i never had a need for driving till recently.
I have also placed prints of my fruit faery series on ebay , you can get there from my website.
In more exciting news...for me that is...I have finished two new watercolor paintings this week, and a third painting that was finished about 2 weeks ago. =^.^= |

Its been a while since ive updated...Today I went to pick up some prints of my artwork, they are soooo nice, the colors are very true to the scans. I wish my home printer printed so well. Anyway, my new prints will soon be up on ebay to sort of introduce myself to the other faery art prints on there.
In other news =) Craig gave me my birthday gift early, a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring set in white gold. I absolutely love it!! |

I do love visiting Manhattan, its good bonding for my dad and myself, though we tend to spend a lot of money. On this visit I went to a bead store that Ive been to several times, I bought tons of charms to dangle from necklaces which will soon be on ebay. So far Ive made 3 necklaces, im feeling proud of myself. |

Im about to start masking out a new painting, old sketch that i never painted. I am still at Craigs house , very happy indeed. This week we went outside to paint It was so beautiful out, and this weekend we are going back to that park for the daffodil festival. We are hoping to do some more painting and hand out business cards. |

This is my first time using live journal, I figured this was a good place to vent, and rant whenever i want to and to talk about my art. Ive tried to keep written journals but they always end up unwritten in. Since only two of my friends have signed up for my email list to find out about new art and sales on ebay, this is always a good way to inform people of my art updates. |
